CCS/TMS320C6748: CFI Query...failed. in NORWRITER of TMS320C6748 Board?

Dear sir,


I am using TMS320C6748 Processor and OMAP_L138-NOR Writer for loading bin file into NOR_FLASH (M29W640GT70NA6E)

While loading BIN file into NOR Flash using NOR Writer CFI Query failed showing what is the problem, is it software problem or hardware(device) problem.

Previously i am loaded so many times but this is the first time problem occur.

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

[C674X_0] Starting OMAP-L138 NORWriter.
CFI Query...failed.
    ERROR: NOR Initialization failed.
    NOR flashing failed!

    Please set breackpoints in the file nor.c were the Local_flashQueryCFI function is called and check to see why that is failing . Have you looked at the EMIFA lines to see if the CTI Query command reaches the flash as expected.

    What has changed since the last time you ran the utility successfully. Was there an y changes to the hardware or clocks/timings? Can you try this with a different board and check to see if this is reproduced. Also try to power cycle the board before retrying. The writer does perform a soft Reset before communicating with NOR part but ensure that the flash device also goes through power on reset.
