AM4377: CRC16 implementation on PRU

Hi Team, 

My customer is using AM4377 and want to the PRU to implement some function, for example the CRC16. 

The code is shown as below, and details can be checked in the attachment.

Now the main concern comes from the time limitation. Based on the use scenario requirement, it has to be done within 1600ns. 

As we didn't have similar experience in assessing the possibility of the CRC implementation inside PRU. 

I'd like to have team's feedback on:

1. whether there's any successful use case before?

2. whether below codes can be done within 1600ns?

3. Is there any reference code? 

I believe this is a very challenging requirement, which need high expertise, and there might be hardly any definite answer.

So i would appreciate if there any comments/suggestions/estimations on this topic. Thank you!
