Remote node creation failed (0x80008008).

Hi,

When I replaced h264 decoder in dvsdk_1_40_00_27 from ceratin decoder version to decoder version v1.00.04.00 version and used the built combo, decoder instance creatin fails. I get error as

Attached is trace with CE_DEBUG=3

Why am I getting this error? How can I get over this?

Manish,

If you look in the trace log after the Engine_createNode() failure message, you will see that the algInit() function failed. (Even though the DSP failure occurrs first, you see the trace later, since the ARM side requests the DSP trace after creating the DSP side node). Is it possible that the alg params changed between the two versions?

Appreciate your response.

Create time params initialization value was different in both the version. After initializing properly decoder create time params, I was able to create decoder instance successfully.
