Question:

Can PRU-ICSS handle divided frame that over than 1514Byte?

Background:

It seems that when access of one Synch Manager of one Slave be divided as 2 frame, then physical address of 2^nd frame access are used same address of 1^st frame access. In other words, those divided 2 frame cannot be access correctly.

If SM3 Inputs=2048Byte, EtherCAT Master divide SM3 Inputs=2048Byte into 2 frame of 934Byte and 1114Byte, because of not to exceed MTU(1514Byte). In this situation, the customer expect 2^nd Frame have offset=934 in physical memory, however, in fact, 2^nd frame have offset=0.

This is a known issue and was listed in errata. Please indicate the severity/priority of the issue, so we can plan accordingly to revisit and address it.
