TDA2SG: ECC support on EMIF 1

Hi TDA2x Team,

I have a customer that is working with a partner of theirs to enable ECC on EMIF 1 interface for the TDA2SGBRQ. It appears there are some major hurdles to get this working based on Errata i922. I would appreciate any insights you may have on this errata, and if there are any recent updates.

    Hi Barend,

    If ECC is enabled only quanta-sized and quanta-aligned writes are allowed. In case the initiators are Arm or DSP cores such writes could be ensured. But for the other initiators (such as USB, IVA, DMA, ...) it is not always possible to ensure quanta-sized and quanta-aligned writes so the drivers for those initiators should use memory regions that are not ECC-protected.
