Linux/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: Qt install issue

Tool/software: Linux

I have configured QT 5.7.1 for my AM335x Starter kit as per Lab 2 described in Hands on with QT but even after configuring tool chain I am still getting error as "QT version is not properly installed, please run make install". When configured device in kit option with same QT version, Kit is not visible in project window.

Hello Dattatray,

You have to first source /home/dattatray/ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-04.02.00.09/linux-devkit/environment-setup before invoking qtcreator from the same terminal window.

Hi,

I have solved this problem after following Lab Step 1. from Lab 2 from SDK directory and Lab 3 example is working

But now I when I build QT Control application, it is giving below error

QQmlApplicationEngine failed to load component
qrc:/main.qml:1 module "QtQuick" is not installed
qrc:/main.qml:3 module "QtQuick.Dialogs" is not installed
qrc:/main.qml:2 module "QtQuick.Controls" is not installed
qrc:/main.qml:1 module "QtQuick" is not installed
qrc:/main.qml:3 module "QtQuick.Dialogs" is not installed
qrc:/main.qml:2 module "QtQuick.Controls" is not installed
qrc:/main.qml:1 module "QtQuick" is not installed
qrc:/main.qml:3 module "QtQuick.Dialogs" is not installed
qrc:/main.qml:2 module "QtQuick.Controls" is not installed

Is this error means QTQuick not installed on my target or host, and how to install it

Secondly, are below path need to populate to build correctly?

Hi Kemal,

Thanks, Sorry I forgot to add this that I am using Debian 9.1 image on AM335x Stater Kit suggested by you and I found the way to resolve this issue by just installing missing libs at target.
Is it correct way to do?

But then why I am getting below error when I tired to run application from command line, this was not the case with SDK

QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display
Aborted

You can add XCB support to Processor SDK by executing the steps in this post.

I am not using SDK anymore. I am using Debian 9.1 image

Please, do not waste TI resources in doing work on not supported by TI stuff. This forum doesn't support Debian 9.1. Debian and BBB have their own communities, please go and join them, also there are many solutions and workarounds about the issues you are seeing on the Internet. Please, find them and do not post issues here which are not related to Processor SDK.
