what's the data path in vpss when input data is yuv422 format?

hi ,

My sensor send out yuv422 data to vpss , the output data format is yuv420, what's the true data path in vpss?

is it ISIF-->IPIPEIF-->IPIPE-->SDRAM ? or

is it ISIF-->SDRAM-->IPIPEIF-->IPIPE-->SDRAM ?

Hi Alex, please have a look at page 61 of http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/sprufg8b/sprufg8b.pdf. That should clarify your doubts.

Hi Alex,

You can use either path. Although i would recommend the first one above the other, because you can save some DDR bandwidth.
