Building DVSDK for Arago/DM6446

I am attempting to build the DVSDK (2.00.00.22, since that is the latest I can find) demos for DM6446 using OE/Arago & CodeSorcery, since they are referred to on http://wiki.davincidsp.com/index.php/DaVinci_GIT_Linux_Kernel, but there seem to be many problems...

1.  Instructions are based on MV5 tools

2.  Apparent dependencies on MV5 tools

3.  Hard dependencies on old-ish kernels (e.g. davinci_resizer.h)

4.  Library/include issues

Is 2.00.00.22 likely to work in this environment?

Do I need a different version of the DVSDK?

Is there some schedule or expected time when a DVSDK will build cleanly without MV tools/kernel/rootfs?
