Hello,

I would like to program my Sitara AM3359 Cotex A8 using a standalone flashing application (that is to say without using Code Composer).

My OS is Windows 10.

I don't find anywhere a solution to my problem.

Can you help me on this point ?

Sorry not answer before: I was on Holidays.

I want to program an ARM3359 and the flash memory which is plugged on is M29W160EB SPI Flash .

Do you have a solution ?

In fact it is a software really closed to the full ethercat application

Currently the flashing utilities that we are supporting in the Processor SDK RTOS are all CCS based utilities but we are currently working on a production flashing tool that will allow users to load the boot image over UART, Ethernet or in the future USB for the HOST without CCS. The priliminary version of the tool is planned to be available in 2Q2017 and will be similar to Uniflash tool that is supported on some of our MCU and Sitara Linux users:

If you are unable to wait for this update, then the only option would be for you to take the existing flash writer and make it SD/MMC bootable such that the flash writer will run from SD boot and read the flash images from SD card and load it at appropriate offset in the flash.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

If I have well understood what you said , the only application which is developped actually is UniFlash that allows to flash a device thanks USB or Ethernet. The only problem with uniflash is that we have to use an image built with Linux.

Am I write ?

And actually you work on another tool similar to uniflash which will allow to flash a device thanks usb, ethernet or uart and the image to be flashed will be made with windows.

Am I write ?

If it is the cas, we are going to wait...
