C6701 Cycle Accurate Simulator

Hi,

I would like to use a Cycle Accurate Simulator for C6701 development. In CCS4 I choose the C67xx CPU Cycle Accurate Simulator as my target. I want to make use of Timer0 but cannot find information on the clock frequency. I asked the same question for the C6727 and was told the timer tick was 1:4 the system clock or 75Mhz. Is the same ratio used for the C6701?

Based on Section 4 of the timer user guide (http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/spru582b/spru582b.pdf), it should be running at a 1:4 ratio to the system clock.

Thanks! I can't see where the system clock is configurable for the target... it looks like there are 3 options for the C6701: 167MHz, 150MHz and 120MHz. Should I assume a 167MHz frequency for the C67xx CPU Cycle Accurate Simulator?

The simulator profiles by cycle count, so I don't think the frequency will be a factor.

From my testing, comparing the cycle count to the timer count, it looks like the system clock is 167MHz for the simulator.
