do TDA3X rvb and DM50X boards support any of the Linux distributions?

Hi Ahmed,

TDA3x and DM50x do not have Cortex-A cores (A8/A9/A15) and thus Linux can not be run on them.

Here is the software you can use on DM50x:
www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware
and TDA3x (BIOS only version of VisionSDK):
www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

may you guide me to something that can help me to run a simple code to just capture w video to display it on lcd as i can't find any thing to help thanks

Hi Ahmed,

you can download and install VisionSDK from here:
software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

After you install it you can check the file (there is comprehensive documentation under 'docs' directory):
PROCESSOR_SDK_VISION_03_02_00_00/vision_sdk/docs/UserGuides/VisionSDK_UserGuide_TDA3xx.pdf

Here you can find how to prepare your board and build and run the SDK.
There are several usecases that use camera and display to choose from.
