RTOS/TMDSSK3358: Hello example not working

Hi,

I'm trying the SYS/BIOS Hello example but nothing is printed.

When cloning the example from TI Resource Explorer I've selected Platform: ti.platforms.evmAM3359.
I've copied to the project my previously working AM3358.ccxml, so I can debug the project.
When run the program I don't see anything in the console. Also what is the stdout in CCS?
What is wrong?

I would recommend starting any development work by using the Processor SDK RTOS release for AM335x from software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

There is a RTOS template for use located at
C:\ti\processor_sdk_rtos_am335x_4_02_00_09\demos\rtos_template_app

Also, there are numerous peripheral examples in the PDK located at C:\ti\pdk_am335x_1_0_9\packages\MyExampleProjects (this directory needs to be generated by running a .bat file).

The installer doesn't contain doxygen however without this I can't rebuild the PDK.

Checkout the link below when using SYSBIOS built in template. System_printf by default in TI RTOS goes to a circular buffer and not to the CCS console. If you want the output to go tot CCS console then you need to add Semihosting support and link the librdimon in the linker libraries as explained in the step 8 of the wiki article:
