Hi all

We are using dra7xx customized board & VSDK 3 dot 1 version.

We have tested the below usecase.
UseCase: chains_vipSingleCam_SgxDisplay

Capture -> Display_M4 (IPU1_0)

Is there way to ignore one field ( odd or even ) of a frame and display the data. Also we would like to know where it is handled in the vision sdk source ?

Hi Gokul,

This chain actually works for the progressive frame input. Are you trying to capture interlaced data?
Please note display does not support field based display. It always expects complete frame. So what do you mean by ignoring a field?

Yes Brijesh, We are capturing interlaced data . We want to ignore one field of a frame from the capture side.

Gokul,

But how do you convert this interlaced field to progressive frame?
You could skip alternate field by setting frameSkipMask in the capture output parameters. So you could ignore alternate fields from the capture itself.
But please note that you will not be able to display these frames, or display will not be correct, since display supports only frame display.
