Part Number: TMS320C6748

Hi team,

The customer bought a TMS320C6748 with suffix E, and she made a custom board. She tried to boot to unlock the jtag following the below link.

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Basic_Secure_Boot_for_OMAP-L138_C6748, the error occurred:

The boot pin has been confirmed to be uart1. Please help her.

  • Hi,

I've notified the RTOS team. They will post their feedback directly here.

    Best Regards,
    Yordan
  • WIthout the UART Host tool,  have they tried to see if the on a serial terminal if the BOOTME is received correctly ? Have they used Secure AIs gen tools to generate the output binary.  Did they test the board with non-secure device before trying this test with the secure device. We are trying to understand if this is a hardware issue or software issue.

We have binary that we used to test JTAG unlock on Secure devices, that I have attached here. can you try to load this on the custom platform and test it the devices will boot and unlock JTAG

I will send you some additional material for secure devices offline to forward to this customer.

    Regards,

    Rahul
