Hi all ,

In null src how does the index file is created ? Is it possible to keep the nullsrc in m4 core & display in M4 core ?

NullSource (M4) -> Display_M4

Do you have sample example for the above one in VSDK source?

Hello Gokul,

Yes, it is possible to have null source and display on M4 core. Current VSDK use-cases have same configuration. You can refer to them for more info.

Hi Prasad,

Which usecase do you refer in the vision sdk source ?
We have linux on A15 core . There are two options for null src-data. We can keep it either in A15 or M4.

We want to have the nullsrc-data in m4 core & display in M4 core.

Is the below usecase is correct ?

NullSource (M4) -> Display_M4

Just adding one more question

What is sizeBin.exe ? when to use this file ? Please share it.

sizeBin.exe index.idx inHeader

For VSDK Linux refer UC - \vision_sdk\apps\src\hlos\adas\src\usecases\null_src_decode_display
this read frames from SD card, decode and display.
Please note that with VSDK Linux, SD card read/write cannot be controlled from M4 as Linux controls the SD/eMMC device
sizeBin.exe is used to generate the index file. This is required as we do not have any frame chunking logic present in VSDK to identify the frame boundaries
