TMS320C6748: DMA, SPI and Timer operations simultaneously

My requirement is to transmit data from the ping-pong buffer to the SPI0 port during fixed intervals of time.. How can I achieve this ?

You can use the timer to count the interval and send interrupt to the processor, upon which you could trigger the SPI transfer. However, if you're asking about example application, there isn't one (as far as I know).
