H264 Platinum Codec on DM368 performance for 2Mega, 3 Mega resolution

Hi

i want to know the following details ( Approximate ) performance on DM368 - H264 2.0 i can expect.

Resolution : 2048x1536(3M) FPS = ? Max Bitrate = ?

Resolution : 2048x1080(2M) FPS= ? MaxBitRate = ?

i  just need approximate figure to get an idea.

    Sujit,

    The performance scales linearly. Hence, the FPS for 2048x1080 will be ~28.1 fps, and for 2048x1536 the FPS will be ~19.8 fps.

    The Max Bitrate for both cases is 15 Mbps.


    If you have DM368 - H264 2.0 integrated then you can measure the FPS by running the codec at the above resolutions.

    is the performance figures for 2M and 3M resolution mentioned by you already tested from TI's side ?

    it will be better if you share any Document mentioning the Test result.

    currently we don't have Dm368 with platinum codec running.

    we are going to have ipnc2.0 which uses H264 2.0 on Dm368.
