Hello,

We are currently in process of designing a project based on TDA2px processor and Vision SDK 3.x

Is there a diagnostic stack readily available which has readily available diagnostic testers in Vision SDK ?

Customer is not planing to use UDS.

If yes , will you please let us know the details ? In case of unavailability can you please suggest any third party components ?

VIsion SDK has diagnostic libs under PDK "ti_components\drivers\pdk_01_07_00_16\packages\ti\diag". But note that this is quite different from UDS framework which is used for SW download and diagnostic over CAN or similar interface.

Concepts like UDS is used when the MCU functionality is integrated in the Application processor. Is that the case in this project ?

Hi Yashwant,
Thanks for the reply. In our system we are having application processor (TDA2p) and host (TI microcontroller) . Diagnostic stack will be handled by host .Customer is not planing to use UDS . We are exploring the support TDA2p can provide to Diagnostic on host. Will you please provide your feedback on this?

Hrishikesh,

Can you elaborate what kind of support you are looking for ? One can do many SW based tested for diagnostics and report the result via SPI or other interface to the Host micro.
