Hello,

How can I port NDK for DP83822 on my board? Please tell me if there are documents or wikis to refer to. I'm checking "NIMU_FtpExample_idkAM571x_armExampleproject" example software in PDKv1.0.8 (PSDK-RTOSv4.1). I don't use PRU-ICSS.

Hi Kazu,

The documentation www.ti.com/lit/an/spracc8/spracc8.pdf covers part of DP83822 configuration. Though the PHY DP83822 is connected to PRU-ICSS on AMIC110 ICE described in the document, there is no much difference in terms of configuration parameters and API. The document is targeted to industrial protocol/application, so you may consider it as reference only.

The DP83822 data sheet www.ti.com/.../dp83822i is always the first document you need look into.

Btw, instead of PDKv1.0.8, you may update to PDKv1.0.9 (PSDK-RTOS v4.2) software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

Hi Garrett,

Thank you for your reply. I'll refer to it. Please let me know if you also have information about NDKv2.25 porting guide. It does not have to depend on DP83822 in particular.

The Network Interface Management Unit (NIMU) layer has been implemented on AM57x, so the porting effort is really in the area of PHY only. The NDK API, UG and NIMU document is available at C:\ti\ndk_2_26_00_08\docs.
