Hai

          I am facing lot of problems in my DM6437-EVM board

Problem-1:Flash program is not running (When i power up the board i connect the input and output but it does not do anything as told in the document)

steps taken

using flash burn utility i burn the flash program fron the installed folder

C:\dvsdk_1_01_00_15\flashburn_files

and keep all boot mode switchs as mentioned in the document....

But i have got nothing........

Problem-2: I try to run the program given the in examples

D:\dvsdk_1_01_00_15\examples

some 6 programs are there but it is was also not running

steps taken

i have changed the memory using the jumper settings JP2

i tried in all the memories like flash,SRAM,NAND but it loads the program , if run nothing was happening

all the programs are loading properly, when i run it does int give anything, to test i have added a printf it is also not working.....

The only thing i am getting output is

From the installed folder

C:\CCStudio_v3.3\boards\evmdm6437_v2\tests\

all the test program was running and proper output was comming , This only ensure me that my board is working properly.....

 

So kindly give me a solution for the above mentioned 2 problems

    This appears to be erroneously posted/moved to the BIOS forum.  I am going to move this thread to a more appropriate forum in hopes that it will expedite an answer.

    Hi shan!

    Just to undestand where the problem. what the last step you can do?

    Do you can connect? (step 8 into flash instruction)
    Do you can download the FBTC?
    Do you can erase and/or read the flash?

    Another thing, do you transform the .out in .hex to burn into flash?

    Hi Marcio

    Already i have done some flash program in C6713 so i know all the steps , I think you didnt understand my problem , I just burn the flash program which was comming along with the CCS so i think it is not nessary to convert it to .hex file because it is already converted , when i burn the flash program through the flash burn utility it works proprly and it shows that flash burn completed when i try to get the output it does not works, Now please tell me is there any other way to get my board to the default state as it is came from the manufacturar....

    Sorry shan, but I am really confusing in what are you need and the problems....

    Hai Marcio ,

          Thanks for your reply, Hear it is...But my problem is different ,  When try to practice with the example program comes along with the CD DVSDK. It is not working properly....

    I will open the project and i will build , It doesnt shows any errors at that time , But when i load the program it automatically running and i am not getting the output also......

    and the STDOUT window in the CCS is also not opening ...... It seems like any thing i didnt face this type of problems before , I tried to reinstall all the things but it doesnt

    working , tell me anyway to fix the problem ant to get the STDOUT window in my CCS....

    Hi shan

    I think you have some problem with the configuration of the projects or .gel file!

    Check the .gel and the Build Options of the projects! Verify if you are building for the correct device and for debug (Build Options... -> Compiler / Linker) .
