Matt, the patches are basically two pieces:

1. enabling TFTP boot
2. modifying bootcmd to load the image automatically

#1 has been integrated into the latest releases. I don't have #2, but they are pretty simple U-Boot commands to copy the images.

I'm also looking for the am335x_tiny_filesystem.tar.gz file

I tried substituting my own initramfs source files but I'm getting stuck here:

We are booting a custom board off ethernet. I don't know if the embedded initrd has anything to do with my issue, but I wanted to try what was laid out in the tutorial at
