Hello All,

For our current project we have a requirement for TDA2P to support SSH server to allow secure access to the Vision SDK file system either by password or by authentication key.

Also we have a requirement for debug daemon functionality. Is there any support available for this in Processor SDK 3.2.

If yes, then where exactly can I find the related documents and code base in Processor SDK.

Hi Abhay,

This is supported. The Processor SDK Linux Automotive releases, by default has support for a SSH server. When you prepare the target filesystem with the default filesystem, you should be able to access the target via ssh, with username specified as root.
You can also add the keys and login without authentication too. It works exactly how it works on PCs.

The SSH server support and the corresponding startup scripts that are setup for the target are all done via Yocto - if you use a prebuilt filesystem then these things are taken care of. But if your current target filesystem doesn't have support for that then you need to refer to the build and include the ssh related recipes into your image.

Please refer the Software Developers Guide for instructions on how to build the filesystem with Yocto.

Thanks for the information.
You mentioned specifically that Processor SDK Linux releases has support for a SSH server, but is it supported for SysBIOS as well.
Also is there any information available on how to configure Processor SDK for debug daemon functionality.

Hi Abhay,

When you install the Processor SDK Linux Automotive 3.0x release, it automatically comes configured with the ssh daemon and you can use the suggestion that I provided in my earlier post.

Could you please let me know which version of Vision SDK are you using? Is it a Linux+BIOS system or BIOS only system? Please share the version details so that I can look into it further.

Hi Abhay,

It is not possible to support SSH daemon in a BIOS only system.
If I understood your system incorrectly please provide additional details.
