Hi,

now I try to optimize the speed of my program, and suddenly saw these words -.

· C64x+ L1/L2 Memory Architecture

– 256K-Bit (32K-Byte) L1P ProgramRAM/Cache [Flexible Allocation]

– 640K-Bit (80K-Byte) L1D Data RAM/Cach [Flexible Allocation]

– 1M-Bit (128K-Byte) L2 Unified Mapped RAM/Cache [Flexible Allocation]

While all the documents I see other values. Of course I want to have 256,640 and 1M!!!.

My question - please, explain,how to understand this sentence from the document and can I have this memory?

The DM6437 does have the memory as described though I think there may be some confusion about measurement units, that is 1M bits in bytes is 1M / 8 or only 128k bytes. This being said you can access the 32kB of L1P at 0x00E08000 to 0x00E0FFFF, the 80kB of L1D at 0x00F04000 to 0x00F17FFF, and the 128kB of L2 unified memory at 0x00800000 to 0x0081FFFF.

Bernie, I am very sorry. I didn't see that bits not bytes. I really want to have such memory that's why I didn't pay attention for words. Thank you very much. It is my mistake.
