Hi Chris,

These two devices have different DEVICE SPEED RANGE

TMS320DM8168CCYG - 930-MHZ ARM; 750-MHz DSP

TMS320DM8168CCYG2 - 1.1-GHz ARM; 930-MHz DSP

We have used TMS320DM8168CCYG2, and the relevant algorithm software has been adjusted.What happens if change to TMS320DM8168CCYG?　What should we do?

Cris,

At what speed you are using ARM/DSP in TMS320DM8168CCYG2 device?

If using ARM/DSP at 930/750 MHz or lower speed, then no SW change is needed.

If using ARM/DSP at higher speed, you need to change the PLL settings to reduce the ARM/DSP clock to lower speed.
