C6747 EMIFB interface

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6747

Hi,

We are using TMS320C6747 processor with an SDRAM. In EMIFB user guide document, page 11, while EMIFB send PRE command to the SDRAM, EmifB Adres bits A[12:11] are displayed as X. What is the meaning of X? We understand C6747 does not drive A[12:11] (high-Z).Is this true?

Thanks

  • X = unknown

This means there is no guaranteed value driven during a PRE command.

Do you have an SDRAM that requires a specific value during this cycle? Or are you just trying to figure out tech terminology like X?
