Hello All,

I am currently building Processor SDK 03.02 for TDA2p-ACD EVM on windows 10.

I am bulding for 'MAKECONFIG=tda2px_evm_bios_all'.

When I entered the command " gmake -s -j depend", my PC hangs. I have tried to build this 2-3 times but the issue persists.

I have tried for Windows 8 and 10.

Is this a known issue with Processor SDK 3.2 ?

Hi Rishabh,

Can you remove -j and try. Build command should be "gmake -s depend".

Hello Rishabh,

Thanks for your reply. Me and Rishabh are working together on this. Actually we never faced this issue with VSDK 2.12, that's why we wanted to know whether this is known issue with PSDK 3.2.

Now we have built PSDK 3.2 successfully and are trying to boot the TDA2P EVM through SD card.
When we execute the command "gmake -s sbl", we found that four MLO's are generated at path: \vision_sdk\binaries\apps\tda2px_evm_bios_all\sbl ,
in folders opp_high, opp_low, op_nom & opp_od.

Out of these four, which MLO file we should keep in SD card along with AppImage to boot TDA2P EVM.

Hi Abhay,

This is not an issue with SDK.
When you use -j multiple processes are invoked and depending on the PC configuration and load, the PC will hang.
SBL can set different OPPs (operating points) depending on the use case. Hence there are different SBLs for different OPPs.
You need to check data manual for exact frequencies for different OPPs.
For development OPP NOM should be fine for you.

You have mentioned that we need to check data manual for exact frequencies . Can you tell us where exactly can we find this data manual for our TDA2P-EVM.

Hi Rishabh,

We have referred the Speed grade table but we are unable to find enough information on which device speed belongs to our TDA2P chip on TDA2Px-ACD EVM. Also based on the device speed frequency, how can we decide which OPP MLO is to be used for booting our EVM.

Hi Abhay,

The OPP information in in the same chapter Table 5-4. Supported OPP vs Max Frequency.
One point to consider is that maximum supported frequency is limited according to the Device Speed Grade.
