Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH,
We are using the TI Sitara AM3354 processor who is boot strapped to use EMAC0 as one of its bootloader options. We have used Uniflash, v3.4.1, in the past to load images using IPv4 addresses, but are looking into implications of switching to IPv6. As a note, the network this device will be on is completely internal to a larger product so it is not a requirement to support IPv4. I have been looking for documentation on Uniflash v3.4.1 and trying to specify IPv6 addresses in the network configuration, but always get an 'invalid IP address error'. This leads me to believe IPv6 is not supported by Uniflash, v3.4.1, and probably not supported by the ROM bootloader of the Sitara in general.
Can anyone confirm or point me to documentation on how to use IPv6 on TI Sitara's ROM bootloader (if it is possible)?
Thx,
Scott
