I tired to compile the above code on the evm by running the below command
gcc main.c -lglut -lGL -lGLEW -lGLU -o OpenGLEx

I am facing the following error

main.c:1:25: fatal error: GL/freeglut.h: No such file or directory

compilation terminated.

can you please let me know how to cross compile the opengl application on the host(ubuntu) to run it on the am437x-evm?

I am not very sure the #include is correct. Please check this :

but in this thread it seems that the app is compile on the board.
However I will check, I will get back to you when I have something.
