Linux/AM3352: USB modem issue

Part Number: AM3352

Tool/software: Linux

Hello,

I'm working on a custom board based on Sitara AM3352, with Linux-RT 4.4.19.

I have a Modem connected via USB interface, and when the PPP crash, my application turn off and on the modem.

In this situation the entire system slow-down an I need to reboot.

//-------------------------------------------------------------

cat /proc/loadavg

18.50 8.84 3.81 2/117 31510

//-------------------------------------------------------------

Turning off the modem, removes the USB interface used by PPP connection, and it seems to create this problem.

Could you give me any advice?

Regards,

Luigi

    Have you tested with non-RT linux kernel?

    Any crash log? Is the userspace application or kernel crashed?

    Which application uses all the resources at this moment?

    Do you mean this "solve" the problem?

  • Luigi,

    I haven’t heard back from you, I’m assuming you were able to resolve your issue. If not, just post a reply below (or create a new thread if the thread has locked due to time-out). thanks.
