I am building my own hardware using AM5728 processor and I want to know how to connect a camera to processor. what type of cameras supported by the AM5728 processor.

Hello,

What you mean by type of cameras?
We have camera module on am572x which could be use for capture.
You could use USB camera also.
I would recommend you to check this guide for more information regarding VIP driver:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Linux_Core_VIP_User's_Guide
You could check the TRM chapter VIP also.
