CCS/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM437X: CCS 8.0 support

Hi,

I would like to know whether version 8.0.0.0 of CCS is compatible with version 04.02.00.09 of AM437x RTOS SDK.

The SDK release note says version 7.3.0.00019.

    CCS is only a IDE environment for code development from Processor SDK RTOS perspective. However, there are many CCS project generation scripts in the SDK that expect the CCS install directory to be ccsv7 hence you may run into some user experience issue that may need updating of the default SDK scripts so we do not recommend updating to the CCSv8 as of yet.

    The upcoming Processor SDK RTOS v4.03 is being validated with CCSv7.4 so we expect to be on the CCSv7 baseline at least till the end of 2Q2018. Our recommendation is to stick with the version specified in the Release notes to avoid any user experience issues due to disparity in the build environment from what was tested by our system test team.
