MessageQ and SRIO

Hello

I have two 6457 processors which are connected with SRIO.

DSP/BIOS 6 runs on both processors. I want them to be connected by MessageQ(ti.sdo.ipc module).

It is written in SPRUGO6(3.2.11) that I need to create my own MessageQ transport instances.

Does anybody have any examples/manuals/application notes which can explain me how to create my own transport?

I have found examples only for DSP/BIOS 5 .

I am also looking to utilize messageQ over a sRIO as well as Hyperlink (c66x) transport.

Did you ever find examples of such a messageQ transport instance for BIOS 6.x?

Anyone from TI can comment?

The latest IPC package only includes a transport for shared memory.

Unfortunately no.
I have created my own IPC library. My library is faster and simpler than MessageQ.
I think it is right when you create your own library. I have tried to use TI Library but it is awkward. For example: One years ago I have bought a board with TMS6457. And today no any support TMS 6457 in LLD.
TI is developing SW for new processors and technology as slowly as they can.

Ran,

In the near future we are extending the transport making use of QMSS and CPPI (PKTDMA) for multicore messageQ object passing to multi-chip messageQ object passing via SRIO.

As I said in http://e2e.ti.com/support/embedded/f/355/p/105562/374382.aspx#374382 the transport making using QMSS to pass messageQ objects is under development.

Yaniv,

Hyperlink is on the roadmap to be completed after SRIO.
