Hello,

What is TI's recommendation for a new project with DM8148.

There are no video requirements.

Is it to download ezsdk latest release or to fetch u-boot&kernel from git ?

Hi Ran,

If you do not need EZSDK/RDK specific components (GUI, demos, benchmarks, applications, etc), then you can use the latest version of u-boot and kernel from the git tree.

What about building filesystem or tarball to start from , where can I find for ti81xx ?

You can use arago minimal FS that comes with EZSDK package. See below pointers for more info:
