TDA2xx Booting

Hello,

Can you explain more specifically what will happen if the sysboot [5:0] are NOT set to one of the settings mentioned on the TRM Table 29-9.

specifically what will be the behavior if they are all ones or all zeros.

Thanks

Guy

  • Hi Guy,

    sysboot[5:0] = 000000 - Is a supported combination USB --> eMMC

    sysboot[5:0] = 111111 - Is reserved unless you are using an emulation device (a TDA2x type)

    Combinations not listed in table 29-9 should be considered reserved, i.e. boot will not happen.

    Please make sure you have the latest TRM - there was updates some months ago.

    Regards,

    Stan
