RTOS/TDA2P-ACD: Required hardware and software to run fusion example

Dear Champs,

My customer would like to develop camera/radar fusion on TDA2Px. The wan to know the required h/w and s/w to run fusion example.

1. So far I know the required h/w are below. But what is the required radar module? I can not find the info for required radar module from both TI and SpectrumDigital's web site.

a. TDA2Px EVM x 1
b. Fusion Card/EVM x 1
c. TIDA OV2775 cameras (with Fakra cables) x 1

2. Is there any SDK that supports camera/radar "fusion" use case? If no, when will TI support this use case?

Hi Luke,

The fusion board on TDA2Px with TIDA1130 camera module is already supported in VSDK 3.2. But it does not yet support radar input on this board. As such, we have validated second PHY input also on TDA2Px with the Fusion board and will be available in the next release, it is not radar input, it is still input from OV2775 based TIDA1130 module.

Thanks for your input.

Customer expects to run camera/radar fusion use case if they buy so called "fusion" board. Does TI have plan to add camera/radar use case in the SDK? If yes, when will it be available?

Hi Luke,

We are working on a fusion demo. The plan is to have a demo ready for the Processor SDK Vision 3.4 release happening towards the end of Q2 2018.
