Real time analysis

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSBIOSNormal 0 21 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

Hallo,

I’m trying to implement some of “Real time analysis” functionalities in our system.

We use the Controller TMS 320 F28 234 and Code Composer 4.1.3. At the Moment we are not sure, if we should use BIOS Version 6.20 or 5.4. Is there really a great difference between both in this case?

First I want to know what protocols the RTA Agent is supporting? In the Bios 6.2 user guide is said: “The RTA Agent is designed to work with a number of transports, such as TCP/IP or RTDX. Configuring the transport is your responsibility, since the transport may be configured for other purposes besides RTA……”.  (Page 8-14)
But here
http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/sysbios/6_20_02_43/exports/docs/docs/cdoc/ti/sysbios/rta/Agent.html#xdoc-desc
is this said: “Currently only RTDX is supported and this value should not be changed.”
Is this true?

Additionally I would like to have some more information about using functions like Task_checkstacks() or Load_getCPULoad() in C?
(maybe additional PDF-Files)

Thanks a lot!

Regards,
Christian
