PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: Dual EMAC mode in U-boot

Have been looking through the code, but it is not clear to me how to configure u-boot for Dual Mac Mode.

My Dual Ethernet board is working with Linux kernel image, but would like to be able to use Ethernet ports in u-boot as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Milton,

Dual emac is NOT supported in u-boot. For dual emac you need TCP/IP stack, but due to size limitations TCP/IP stack is available only in linux kernel (not in u-boot). See also below e2e thread:

Thanks for the info Pavel.
Actually just needed a short term u-boot test image with both ethernet ports working, so I put port1 and port2 in forwarding mode, so the device appears like a 2 port switch.
