BEAGLEBN: Missing DLPDLCR2000 directory

The DLPDLCR2000EVM documentation seems to say that beaglebone blacks should come with certain subdirectory "/opt/scripts/device/bone/capes/DLPDLCR2000/". Mine doesn't have that.

For my beaglebone black wireless (brand new as of March 2018) my /opt/scripts/device/bone/capes directory has this content:

debian@beaglebone:/opt/scripts/device/bone/capes$ ls
BB-BEAGLELOGIC ISM4334X cape_eeprom_check.sh readme
BBB_Audio_Cape_RevB ISM43362 dksb1017

Where can I get a copy of the DLPDLCR2000 stuff? thanks...

Hello Robert,

You need to install the latest Debian 9.3 2018-01-28 4GB SD LXQT image to have this directory content present in "/opt/scripts/device/bone/capes/DLPDLCR2000/".

Kemal, thanks. Did that, and got the files I wanted.

But...all of the *.py test programs work correctly except for the Mplayer one. And mplayer from the command line doesn't work either. (Yes, I did 'export DISPLAY=:0'). The DLPDLCR2000 just keeps showing the splash screen. The TI docs say to use Jessie 8.9 to avoid possible driver loading issues, and it sure is acting like that's my problem. I'd try Debian Jessie 8.9 if only I could find it! The beaglebone.org site has lots of OS images, but as far as I can tell, not THAT one.

Any pointers would be gratefully received.

Thank you for the pointer. I have a Beaglebone Black Wireless board of recent vintage. Which of {BBB-blank*, BBW-blank*, bbx15-blank*, bone-debian-8.9*, or debian-8.9*} is the image I need?

And thanks for the pointer to the thread above. I will study that carefully and try this again.
