Compiler/TMS320C5535: EXTERNAL INTERRUPT

Hello,

I have a project with ezdsp5535 and I have to use the external interrupt. I don't know, how to use DIRECTLY the registers for the interrupt. I know that this board has predefinition functions for activation, clear...an interrupt, but I want to write a value directly in registers. (ex: IFR0=0x00FA )

Please, I need some suggestions for this problem...or an example.

Hallo Lali,

I saw your response, but still I don't understand a thing.

I work in Code Composer Studio v.4 for my project. How can I access directly the register? If I try to write IER0 = 0x0004, this is an error in program.

It is very important for me to have access to bits from registers.

Is it a file that helps me? Or I have to use the GPIO module and its functions??

Please, offer me an advice or a suggestion for this problem.

Prior to debugging the register access problem, can you please upgrade your environment to use CCSv7?

v4 is extremely outdated.

Hi Cristina,

I also had problems using CCS 4. I started the wrong way with the ezDSPC5535. After struggling and reading lots of posts I realize that CCS 7 is the path.

I suggest you to use only CCS 7. Are you using the CSL lib. provided by Spectrum Digital website? Those libs, are not the ones for the C5535, there are lots of missing registers.

Use the ones provided from TI :

As additional information, I'm not using the CSL, I based my interrupt routines and irq vector from these posts:
