Linux/AM3358: Ethernet DHCP problem

Part Number: AM3358

Tool/software: Linux

Hello All,

I have designed a custom board of AM3358 which is designed based on General Purpose EVM.

Ethernet was working fine without any glitches and dhcp, assigning ip address were running fine.

Suddenly ,one day while testing other peripherals I have observed that DHCP failed . Insertion  and removal of LAN cable is also being detected but ip address is not being assigned.

Assigning the IP address manually also not working . Ip address will assign but communication with the network not happens.

I seriously feel that there is a hardware problem and any of the connections have gone bad. As I am quite new with the hardware section of Ethernet , i could not identify the problem.

Kindly help me in identifying the problem and resolve it at the earliest.

Regards
