66AK2H14: What to do with Sync-Ethernet/IEEE-1588 pin

Part Number: 66AK2H14

Hello, I am not familiar with the Sync-Ethernet/IEEE-1588 pins on the 66AK2H14 DSP+ARM and would like to know what I should do with them if I determine I don't need them?

  • Joe,

Most of these signals are outputs.  Unused outputs can be left floating.  The TSREFCLKP/N is an LJCB clock input buffer.  Please follow the diagram in section 3.3 of the Hardware Design Guide for KeyStone II Devices (SPRABV0).  This interface and clock should have been listed in this document but appears to have been overlooked.  The TSPUSHEVT0/1 pins are I/O pins but they also have internal pull-down resistors.  These can also be left unconnected when unused.
