RTOS/AM5716: McASP digital loopback

Hi,

I am using EDMA to transfer data between McASP and and my ping pong buffer using EDMA on AM5716. I have verified the the data from my output buffer to McASP is working( I see the data on scope). since there is no data availabe on McASP input pin at this moment, so I'd like use McASP digital loopback to check if EDMA working in receiving direction. I have set DLBEN =1 in DLBCTL register. but I did not see the data send from EDMA back to my input buffer. I chceked the EDMA receiving is working( I see the TCC 0, and 1 for channel 0 for receiving). I wonder what else I can check if the data is loopped back from McASP?

We provide a MCASP internal loopback example with EDMA in the Processor SDK RTOS driver. Can you run that example and compare the MCASP EDMA And core settings with what is setup in those examples.

Just a update.:

after set up ORD bits correctly( to match transmit/receiveing ARn). Loopback works now.
