Unable to restart McASP/dMAX on TMS320C6726

Hi,

Our system runs well without hitting a CCS breakpoint. But after breakpoint, our McASP/dMAX will not restart again until reset.

I found the following register in SPRU878. But writing 1 to it won't stick. It always reads back as 0.

One thing to note first is that if the McASP transmit side underflows then you need to reset the McASP in order for it to be able to work again. You might check the McASP registers to see if an underflow ("underrun") has occurred. What value is in the XSTAT and RSTAT registers after this happens?

Hi Brad,

McBSP is overrun and underrun. My questions is that why I can not set FREE bit in PWRDEMU register. Please see my original question above again.
