Hello,
I am harsh garg from Cellprop Pvt. Ltd. We are an electric mobility startup based in Bangalore, India. Our aim is to produce electric cars with ADAS/autonomous-driving capabilities. Right now we are in the process of building a prototype. For meeting ADAS/autonomous-driving requirements, we are planning to develop our own camera modules.
Right now I am facing issues in choosing perfect ISP for CMOS image sensor. Like I go throw datasheet of many ISP like ov490, ov491, ov493, ov495 and look into compatibility, I found only two factor on the basis of which we can compare ISP's, one is resolution and another one is ADC output format(like 10 bit or 12 bit). How can we say that a particular ISP is compatible with a given CMOS image sensor? Apart from software requirements, which is based on the type of functions we want the ISP to perform on the raw image from the sensor, is there any other hardware compatibility issues (between an image sensor and ISP) we have to look out for?
Regards,
Harsh garg
