OMAP-L138: PRU frequency on C6748, L138

I was told C6748/L138 PRU frequency limited to 150MHz. 

but from TRM table 6-2 system clock domain, PRU belongs to sysclk2, it is fixed ratio to CPU clock 1:2. 

Seems the 150MHz limitation comes from very old version when maximum C6748/L138 frequency is 300MHz.

Please help confirm the PRU Max frequency: 150MHz or 1/2 CPU frequency even CPU>300MHz?

    Hi Tony
    On OMAPL1x family PRU will always run CPU/2 being fed by SYSCLK2 - so for the 456 MHz part PRU core will run at 228 MHz. 1: 2 fixed ratio has to be maintained as mentioned in the clocking chapter.
    Do note that unlike Sitara devices, we do not have an industrial communication protocol stack support / IO timings etc for PRU IOs, so while I do not expect any issues with internal core logic for PRU , if customer is using PRU for some IO , they need to properly test the solution at higher frequency.
