Linux/AM3352: MMC 8-bit HS mode

Part Number: AM3352

Tool/software: Linux

Hi expert,

My customer use AM3352 8 bits MMC mode for FPGA data communication, from TRM we see that:

– up to 384Mbit/sec (48MByte/sec) in MMC mode 8-bit data transfer

We also see the HSPE bit description in SD_HCTL Register as :

0h = Normal speed mode
1h = High speed mode

And in datasheet Table 5-88. Switching Characteristics for MMC[x]_CLK we see two options as STANDARD MODE and HIGH-SPEED MODE.

My question is if the HIGH-SPEED MODE in datasheet is the same concept with High speed mode definition in TRM?

Thanks!
