I ordered a TMDXBDKFP5515/C5515 Fingerprint Development, and just started to try it out. My questions are
1. The kit includes two sensors, swipe and optical. I connected the swipe and played well. Then I connected the optical sensor, but nothing happened. I like to know if the built in firmware support both sensors. If not, how to load the firmware supporting the optical sensor?
2. The quick start guide said a mini DVD A containing:
– Code Composer Studio™ IDE, but after I installed the disk, I didn't see the CCS.
3. The Mini converter board for JTAG emulation is missing in the package.

    Suli,

    Yes, it supports both sensors but I forget how to enable the optical sensor. I will forward this to the FDK expert in my team.

    Please go to the following folder and read the following text file:

      \FDK_miniDVD\Software\Tools\How_to_use_programmer.txt

    This will tell how to program the firmware for optical sensor.

    Now in order to program the new firmware, you do need to setup CCS3.3 and an emulator.

    1. The firmware for optical sensor is under

       \FDK_miniDVD\Software\bin_files\boot_cmos.bin

    2. The programmer tools which you will need to load and run it under CCS is

       \FDK_miniDVD\Software\Tools\programmer.out
