Linux/TMS320DM8148: yocto for dm8148

Hello,

I've found some posts regardeing yocto with dm8148, but without resolution.

I thought that I can use am335x-evm as a starting point. (linux, and u-boot shall be build in standalone)

Does it make sense ?

Actually I am doing this effort just because of snmp. it seems that adding snmp server and client to the arago rootfs, might be too complex, Right ?

Hello Margarita,

I've reviewed the links.

There seems to be no yocto for dm8148 or even any alternative to set in "MACHINE" for dm8148.

Is that correct ?

Yes. You can not use bitbake to build EZSDk for example. We does not support this for dm8148.
