RTOS/AM3359: VDD_MPU configuration

Hi TI,

beaglebone black, processor SDK RTOS 4.2.0.9, ccs 7.4

I like to run beaglebone black @ 1GHz. Currently it runs @ 550MHz.

There is another post suggesting to change /opt/ti/ccsv7/ccs_base/emulation/boards/beaglebone/gel/beagleboneblack.gel to ARM_OPPNitro_Config() instead of ARM_OPP100_Config(). However, ARM_OPPNitro_Config() requires VDD_MPU @ 1.325v.

Please advise how to setup VDD_MPU to 1.325v by TI-RTOS api. Thanks in advance.

Changing the core voltage requires SOC to communicate over I2C with the PMIC. This implementation is shown in the PM LLD example PM_RTOS_measurement in Processor SDK RTOS . The PM LLD defines a OPP_HIGH2 for Nitro mode that can be used to configure the ARM at 1GHZ and the VDD_MPU to 1.325V using:

ChangeOpp(Power_PERFLEVEL_HIGH2);
