OMAP35x Linux PSP SDK mismatch with the rest of the downloads

http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/dvsdk/DVSDK_3_00/latest/index_FDS.html

This SDK download page lists the PSP as 3.00.01.06 as the Linux PSP.   This SDK includes u-boot, uImage, jffs, etc.

Everything else is release 3.01.00.10. (including u-boot, uImage, jffs, etc).    This is very confusing because the instructions for reflashing want you to set the bootargs based on which release you are working with.

Can you please update the Linux PSP to match the rest of the downloads???   Also the window utilities downloadutility.exe and Pumpkin.exe are missing from the Linux PSP.

Thanks,

John

I believe you are confused why the DVSDK version is labeled 03.01.00.10 and the PSP is label is versioned 03.01.00.06?
PSP and DVSDK are independent products and follow their own release cycle - and therefore versioning.
In this case, DVSDK version 3.01.00.10 is including a PSP package 03.01.00.06. If you were to look closely i believe you will find version numbers associated with each component included in the package. In case of PSP it may be coincidence that version numbers happen to be "too" similar to the DVSDK version.

You can easily boot from MMC and flash the x-loader and uboot - you wouldn't really need downloadutility. Similarly there are multiple alternatives for windows based tftp server. If you are used to pumpkin.exe you can continue using it from earlier release itself.
